Durable Medical Equipment Primarily used for medical purposes in the home and can be used repeatedly, such as walkers, wheelchairs, and oxygen tents.
Hands-On Assistance Physical assistance with activities of daily living.
Home Care Assists with personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, etc.
Home Health Care Health services provided in the home, such as skilled nursing care, occupational or speech therapy.
Hospice Care Program that cares for people who are terminally ill.
Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) Activities related to independent daily living, such as preparing meals, grocery shopping, performing light housework, or managing money.
Medicaid Program supported by federal, state, and local funds that is administered by each state to provide health care to those eligible.
Medicaid Buy-In for Working People with Disabilities Program that offers Medicaid benefits to eligible working people with disabilities who earn more than Medicaid ordinarily allows.
Medicare Federal health insurance program for those 65 and older and some disabled individuals.
Medicare Supplemental Policy Private insurance policy that covers some or all of the patient responsibility on Medicare approved services after Medicare provides payment.

Nursing Home Licensed facility that provides general nursing care to the chronically ill and those who need help with activities of daily living.
