Posted: August 17, 2017County Executive Commends Sheriff Paul VanBlarcum for Incorporating Green Vehicles into the Department’s FleetKingston, N.Y. - This week Ulster County Executive Mike Hein was pleased to join Sheriff Paul VanBlarcum to accept delivery of the first two “green fleet” vehicles to be used by the Sherriff’s Office. The two new Ford Fusion Hybrids will replace traditional sedans used for administrative and investigative work. The new vehicles have two to three times the fuel efficiency (mpg) as their replacement vehicles.

The federal agency found absolutely no deficiencies in any one of the 17 critical categories it scrutinizes. The perfect score places UCAT in the top 2% of transportation agencies across the United States.
