Ulster County seniors and families can now apply for the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) through April 24, 2020
KINGSTON, N.Y. – Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan announced that the 2019-2020 Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) has been extended through April 24, 2020. HEAP makes funding available to help seniors ages sixty and over and low-income and working families pay their heating bills.

UCAT personnel in collaboration with the Ulster County Planning Department and the Ulster County Executive’s Office also presented revised routes that will maximize the number of residents and destinations served within the City of Kingston.

Ryan announced today that Ulster County police agencies will participate in a special enforcement effort to crackdown on impaired driving. The statewide STOP-DWI Crackdown efforts start on January 31st and will end on February 3rd. The Super Bowl is America’s most watched national sporting event and that weekend is historically a deadly period for impaired driving.
