Today’s announcement of an arrest made in connection to this tragedy is welcome news, and I want to thank District Attorney Dave Clegg, the New York State Police, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Department, the City of Kingston Police Department, and the Town of Ulster Police Department for their work leading to this swift arrest. As a community, let us summon the collective will to stop this cycle of violence. We must do better."
